Jim Harrawood
1942-2006

Jim was born in Southern California in April of 1942. He served in the Navy for seven years on the USS Tecumseh and USS Sculpin as a nuclear plant operator where he received the Vietnam Service Medal. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and was a past Post Commander. He was also a member of the American Legion and a Past 2nd Vice Commander.
He was known on railroad forums as "slimjim" and was highly regarded for his "Today in Railroad History" posts.
